Public Domain Movie Night: The Wasp Woman

The first Tuesday of every month is Public Domain Movie Night at Bierock.

On Tuesday March 5, Bierock will host a screening of The Wasp Woman, an indie sci-fi horror film from 1957.

The film was directed by Roger Corman, king of low-budget cult movies from that era. It inspired a 1995 re-make.

The brief synopsis from IMDB sets the scene…

The head of a major cosmetics company experiments on herself with a youth formula made from royal jelly extracted from wasps, but the formula’s side effects have deadly consequences.

Movie start time is at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Bierock’s full food and drink menu are available the night of the event.

Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
