On St. Patrick’s Day in Madison, we hit the trifecta at Bierock: Irish-Inspired Beer, Corned Beef and Basketball.
On Thursday March 17, Bierock bar and restaurant is the place to be for food, drinks and entertainment.
FOOD & DRINKS
To start, we will be bringing back our Reuben Bierock for a limited time.
Stuffed with corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, it’s all wrapped inside a freshly-baked dough and served with a side of Russian dressing dipping sauce.
As for drinks, we’ll be featuring a couple of Irish-inspired beers.
First up is Brian Boru, an Irish Red Ale from 3 Floyds Brewing.
Born in Munster, Ireland, Brian Boru spent his life uniting the Irish tribes to become the first high king of Ireland. With a heavy dose of new and old-world hops which gives rise to notes of citrus, stone and tropical fruit, we brewed this rich and full-bodied Irish-style Red Ale for him.
Next is a local selection and spring seasonal, an Irish Dry Stout by Karben4.
The third stop in the World Beer Tour takes us to Ireland. K4 takes on an Irish Dry Stout. A dark, mild, roasty, malty stout filled with notes of coffee and chocolate.
We’ll also have Jameson Irish whiskey on special for both shots and mixers as well.
BASKETBALL
On the entertainment side, it’s time for March Madness on Bierock’s big projection screen TV.
The NCAA basketball tournament begins with first round games taking place around the clock.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN MADISON
