The first Tuesday of every month is Public Domain Movie Night at Bierock.
Coincidentally, the first Tuesday in March just so happens to be Fat Tuesday, so we’re making it part of our celebration.
Bierock will host a screening on Tuesday March 1st of Sunny, a film with a Mardi Gras theme taking place in New Orleans.
Sunny is an American musical film from 1941, adapted from a play of the same name by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein.
The IMDB description of the plot is as follows …
The beautiful Anna Neagle stars as a circus performer who falls in love with a rich car dealer’s son, against her family’s wishes. Features some spirited dance numbers with Ray Bolger.
Movie start time is at 8:00 p.m.
Bierock’s full food and drink menu are available the night of the event.
At the time of publication, masks are required indoors except when eating or drinking per Public Health Madison and Dane County.
Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
