Brace yourselves. You’ll be able to get Dragon’s Milk Reserve in Madison at Bierock bar and restaurant.
Bierock will tap a keg of this rare release from New Holland Brewing Company on Wednesday March 11 and will be available while supplies last.
the details
The first Dragon’s Milk Reserve release of 2020 is a rum barrel aged imperial stout made with chocolate, hazelnut and toasted coconut.
“Dragon’s Milk Reserve is meant to be an indulgent reward, and our brewers have absolutely lived up to that billing on this latest entry in our Reserve series,” said New Holland Brewing Company Founder and President Brett VanderKamp.
For those craving the specifics, the beer was aged for three months in barrels imported from Jamaica and then finished on 2,500 pounds of toasted coconut, 1,000 pounds of hazelnut and 200 pounds of chocolate.
Lacking a fancy name, this release is titled Dragon’s Milk 2020 Reserve 1.
Bierock was able to acquire a barrel of this specialty product after Dragon’s Milk was the best selling of beer of 2019 on premise.
Dragon’s Milk Reserve 1 will be available starting at 3:00 p.m. when doors open until it’s gone. Closing time is at 10:00 p.m.
We make no guarantee this beer will last future days.
