We celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead the first Thursday of every month at Bierock, but in August, it’s a special occasion.

The first Thursday just so happens to land on Aug. 1, Jerry Garcia’s birthday.

To mark the occasion, we’ve got kegs of Tighthead Brewing’s Bear’s Choice IPA plus Destihl Brewing’s Extended Jam Hazy IPA, part of their Deadhead series of beers.

Both featured beers will have one-day-only special pricing.

As expected, we’ll be playing a musical playlist inspired by the Grateful Dead on our house sound system.

And as usual, we’ll also have our popular Grilled Cheese on special on Thursdays. There will be a standard Garlic Grilled Cheese for $3 plus a Chef’s Special, Bacon Date Jam Grilled Cheese for $4.
