Think you’ve got what it takes to win at Tecmo Super Bowl? Yes, the video game from the 90s on the original Nintendo.

If so, you’re invited to participate in the inaugural Tecmo Super Bowl Challenge presented by Potosi on Sunday May 5 from Noon to 5:00 p.m.

The event will be highlighted by the limited release Slugger, a whiskey barrel aged imperial stout. Checking in at 10.5% ABV, this beer won a gold medal at the World Beer Championships.

Part of Madison Craft Beer Week, customers can challenge our Bierock house team to game of Tecmo Super Bowl.

The rules are as follows: The winner of a coin flip will pick the two teams that will play each other. The loser of the coin flip gets to pick the team they want.

The cost to challenge is $10 with all proceeds going to nearby Warner Park Youth Football. Challengers that beat our house team can win prizes, including gift certificates to Bierock.

For this special event, we’ll have four Potosi beers on tap. One dollar from each Potosi beer from Noon to 5:00 p.m. will also go to Warner Park Football.
