In honor of the Kentucky Derby, Bierock is combining its German heritage with the bluegrass state’s bourbon influence.

Going on tap Saturday May 4 will be Coronado Brewing Company’s limited release bourbon barrel aged German Chocolate Cake, an imperial stout brewed with coconut and chocolate.

Taking place during Madison Craft Beer Week, only one sixth barrel will be available, so when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Bierock’s Kentucky Derby Watch Party will last from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. featuring specialty Mint Juleps also available for purchase.

So make sure to bring a hat as we watch the 145th Run for the Roses.
