Dead Heads rejoice.
On Thursday Feb. 7 Bierock will be tapping a keg of Dogfish Head’s American Beauty, the beer inspired by the Grateful Dead and named after the band’s seminal album from 1970.
We’ll also be giving away a pair of tickets to the upcoming Joe Russo’s Almost Dead concert at The Sylvee, courtesy of Frank Distributors.
JRAD, for those unfamiliar, are the premiere Grateful Dead cover band.
For every pint of American Beauty sold, customers will get an entry into a drawing that will take place at 10:00 p.m. You need not be present to win.
Doors open at 3:00 p.m. for Happy Hour, so until 6:00 p.m. patrons will get the added bonus of getting a $1 off their pour.
We’ll also have some consolation prizes for our drawing, including an American Beauty branded pint glass from Dogfish Head.
American Beauty is a pale ale brewed with granola, honey and all-American hops.
The recipe was crowd-sourced from fans with granola being the top suggestion, a popular parking lot meal.
At 8:00 p.m. our weekly “Thursdays Rock with Bierock” event begins, featuring a musicial playlist inspired by the Grateful Dead.
Our weekly schedule:
- 1st Thursdays: Grateful Dead
