Public Domain Movie Night: The Hitch-Hiker

The first Tuesday of every month is Public Domain Movie Night at Bierock.

On Tuesday May 5, Bierock hosts a screening of The Hitch-Hiker.

On Cinco de May, we picked a film noir set in Mexico and is the first mainstream American movie to be directed by a woman, Ida Lupino.

The brief synopsis from IMDB sets the scene…

Two friends pick up a psychopathic escaped convict who tells them that he intends to murder them when the ride is over.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Bierock’s full food and drink menu are available the night of the event.

Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
