The day before Thanksgiving has come to have a lot of names associated with it: Drinksgiving, Friendsgiving, Blackout Wednesday.

It doesn’t matter what you call it, but we hope you spend it at Bierock on November 26 for our annual event. It’s an opportunity for friends and family to catch up and renew acquaintances. We also hope you don’t literally black out.

Things get underway as doors open at 3:00 p.m. Our Wednesday Happy Hour from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. features half price appetizers and $1 off all full-size drinks. That includes beer, wine and mixed drinks.

One highlight of the day will be the Milwaukee Bucks competing in the NBA Cup as reigning champs.

The game will be on our big projection screen TV with the opponent being the Miami Heat in the group stage. Tip off is at 6:30 p.m.

The fourth Wednesday at Bierock is also Dessert Day. And this might be the best opportunity to take advantage of our special with friends that are traveling back home for the holiday.

Get one of Chef Cordel’s pumpkin cake desserts. We make no guarantee it will be available beyond Nov. 26.
