On Wednesday September 10, Bierock is hosting Beer Bingo featuring Half Acre Beer Co.
Bingo begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts roughly two hours.
It’s free to play. Customers will receive a bingo card, good for several rounds. Prizes include various beer-related giveaways, brewery SWAG, free pours and other esoteric awards like B-movie DVDs and erotic novels.
A representative from Half Acre will be on hand to hand out samples, answer questions and socialize during the event.
Featured on Sept. 10 will be at least six beers on tap, including a seasonal offering. But we’ll make sure to have something hoppy, something light, something dark and something fruity.

Daisy Cutter, Pale Ale—Daisy Cutter is one of the first beers we brewed at our Lincoln Ave brewery. It began as a special release bomber and caught fire. Back in 2009, there were some local pale ales that hit with natural power. But not many. Daisy Cutter’s lush and dank characteristics carved out a place within the Chicago brewing landscape. Today, Daisy Cutter is a call brand that we continue to keep raw and relevant. Blended pine, citrus, papaya and mango. Dank. Apparent biscuit, lingering, obscenely dry.
Benthic, Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout brewed with coffee and toasted coconut–A remedy coaxed from the deepest caverns; it’s char bound in the systematic sweetness and density only found in the colossal beers of our time.
WayBird, Hazy IPA—WayBird is where you want Hazy IPA to live. Rooted in El Dorado and HBC 586. Heavy waft Citrus and Stone Fruit. Just enough bitterness to keep it grounded in the Half Acre flavor realm. Big mouthfeel, easy drinking and clean IPA from your friends on Balmoral Ave.
Pony, Pilsner—Our pils. An American lager beer built for everything. Bready flavor and aroma charges of noble hop varietals.
LagerTown, Oktoberfest—Our Oktoberfest is a perennial favorite around these parts, celebrating the enduring ritual of gathering with family, friends & strangers to slug malty, rich, ruby-colored lager. An Oktoberfest that lives in the malty bosom of Munich’s storied tradition. Take a drive through Lager Town.
Gold Back, West Coast Pilsner–Gold Back West Coast Pilsner drifts in with polished clarity. Brisk malt undercurrents bolster a resonant glow of tangerine, guava, and pine.
