In honor of Juneteenth, Bierock is featuring brews from Funkytown Beer on June 19.
Funkytown is a black-owned craft beer company located in Chicago.
On this date, $1 from each pour of Funkytown beers will go toward black civic organization Urban Triage located here in Madison.
To celebrate the occasion, we’re tapping three beers from Funkytown.
The lineup and brewery descriptions are as follows…
- Hip-Hops and R&Brew, American Pale Ale: Funkytown’s beer that started it all. Smooth and mellow with notes of citrus orange, fresh strawberry, and lychee. Crush responsibly.
- Woo-Wap-Da-Bam, Amber Ale: Toffee, bread crust, banana, and a hint of peach beg you to sip it all day (and night).
- Summertime Chi, Belgian-Style Witbier: Bright citrus zest and coriander make for a light, refreshing beer perfect for Summertime Chi! Pair with an orange!
Bierock is proud to continue its support of the community with this fundraiser.
The full food and drink menu at Bierock will still be available the day of the event.
Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
