The day before Thanksgiving has come to have a lot of names associated with it: Drinksgiving, Blackout Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve.
It doesn’t matter what you call it, but we hope you spend it at Bierock. It’s an opportunity for friends and family to catch up and renew acquaintances. We also hope you don’t literally black out.
Things get underway as doors open at 3:00 p.m. Our Wednesday Happy Hour from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. features half price appetizers and $1 off all full-size drinks. That includes beer, wine and mixed drinks.
One highlight of the day will be the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team competing in the Fort Myers Tip Off.
The game will be on our big projection screen TV with the opponent being either West Virginia or SMU.
The fourth Wednesday at Bierock is also Board Game Night. And this might be the best opportunity to take advantage of our specials with friends that are traveling back home for the holiday.
From 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., groups playing board games receive $4 off pitchers of beer and half price appetizers on Wednesday November 22.
Feel free to play one of the many board games we have in house or bring one of your own. It doesn’t matter if it’s a contemporary game like Catan or a time-tested game like Monopoly, Cribbage or anything else.
And you’ll be able to get our special of the week, a Pumpkin Pie bierock that comes piping hot inside our freshly-baked bread dough and complete with a whipped cream dip.
Some come down to Bierock to celebrate the upcoming holiday with friends and family and take advantage of the Thanksgiving Eve specials in Madison we have to offer.
Bierock is located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
