Autumn is arriving and cooler temperatures are in the forecast.
And for Bierock’s fall seasonal charitable event series, we’re teaming up with the Community Action Coalition of South Central Wisconsin for a Winter Coat Drive.
Customers are encouraged to drop off warm coats or jackets or financial donations on the night of Thursday October 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bierock.
Everyone that donates a coat will receive 15% off their bill.
This event is meant to support the CAC’s “Winter Glow” initiative, a re-developed version of its “Koats for Kids” drive.
Winter Glow is helping to provide new services for a wider range of needs of the low-income community than its former narrower focus on the Koats for Kids drive.
Don’t have a coat to donate? You can still help but just coming out. Bierock will also donate $1 for every draught beer and bierock sold during the event.
The seasonal charitable event series at Bierock includes…
- Fall: Warm Coat Drive for the CAC of SW Wisconsin
- Winter: Toy Drive for Santas Without Chimneys
- Spring: Food Drive for East Madison Community Center
- Summer: School Supply Drive for Goodman Community Center
Announcements on dates and times for these events will follow on Bierock’s website and social media.
This series of events is meant to replace the charitable Northside Nights previously held at Bierock prior to COVID-19.
Bierock will have its full food and drink menu available the night of the event.
Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
