In honor of the world’s premier cycling event, the 3rd annual Bike to Bierock Day will be held on Sunday July 18, coinciding with the final stage of the Tour de France.
With specials for those riding bikes to Bierock, the event takes place all day long when doors open at 11:00 a.m. and closing at 8:30 p.m.
Bierock will have the conclusion of the Tour de France on the big projection screen TV as doors open so customers can pretend they’re visiting Paris.
FOOD & DRINK SPECIALS
Select bike-themed craft beers will be on tap for $4 each along with free upgrades on all entrée orders of bierocks and burgers.
Typically all entrées at Bierock come with chips and a pickle by default, but customers can choose to upgrade to cole slaw, potato salad or potato wedges.
Featured beers include Madison’s own One Barrel The Commuter, a clean, crisp and refreshing Kölsch-style ale.
We’ll also have Lakefront Brewing’s Fixed Gear, a bold American Red IPA.
Children can get Sprecher soda bottles for just $2. All anyone needs to do is just show their cycling helmet.
The full food and drink menu will be available on the day of the event.
An abundance of bike parking can be found at the Northside TownCenter with racks outside neighboring businesses at Habaneros, Benvenutos, Goodwill, Willy Street Co-op and Walgreens.
TOUR DE FRANCE
The Tour de France concludes with Stage 21, ending at the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
We’ll be watching as the yellow jersey is worn and won.
Bierock is located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave, part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
