For a third consecutive year, Bierock is hosting its Oktoberfest celebration in Madison.
Everything will take place on our outdoor patio. And or the first time, it will span two days on Saturday October 3 and Sunday October 4.
Featuring Potosi Brewing Company, we’ll have a tap takeover featuring five beers, including a couple festive autumn-inspired releases.
potosi! pretzels! prizes!
For a third straight year we’ll be giving away 100 prizes, one with every pint of Potosi purchased. The first 50 pints sold each on Saturday and Sunday will eligible to win a prize.
A few of the prizes are as small as beer stickers or a can koozie but ranging all the way up to free drinks, pint glasses, t-shirts, gift certificates and more!
With Happy Hour pricing all day long on Potosi brews, the lineup will include…
- Potosi Oktoberfest, of course
- Potosi Stingy Jack Pumpkin Ale
- Potosi Czech Pilsner
- Good Old Potosi Golden Ale
- Potosi Tangerine IPA
This is in addition to our lineup of more than a dozen tap lines, including an imported German beer line and other seasonal specialties.
Of course, the full food menu will also be available, highlighted by a “Buy One, Get One Half Price” deal on our always-popular homemade pretzels with a side of pimento cheese dip.
And for the first time this season, we’ll be bringing back our Tailgate Bierock! Stuffed with bratwurst from Beef Butter BBQ, cheese curds from Carr Valley and caraway-seasoned sauerkraut, it offers a taste of German influence.

Bierock will have an expanded patio for the weekend, featuring more tables and seating thanks to the city’s Streatery program. There is a canopy in case of inclement weather.
The event will be held rain or shine. Come dressed appropriately.
Madison’s Streatery program is designed to help restaurants and taverns recover from the economic impacts of COVID-19.
Finally, we’ll also have an Oktoberfest-inspired musical playlist as background music for the festivities.
So come on out and take part in a seasonal tradition. Prost!
Bierock is located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
