Bierock bar and restaurant is the place to watch the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship in Madison.
A Watch Party will be held on Sunday January 19 with the game on our big projection screen TV. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:40 p.m., and a spot in the Super Bowl is on the line.
The Packers will be headed out to the West Coast to take on the San Francisco 49ers in a difficult road environment at Levi’s Stadium.
Just like the regular season, there will be food and drink specials for customers during the game.
food & drink specials
The specials start with the popular Tailgate bierock. Stuffed with brats from neighboring Beef Butter BBQ, cheese curds from Carr Valley in Middleton and caraway-seasoned sauerkraut.
A seasonal favorite, the Tailgate bierock is only available on football game days. And with only the Super Bowl remaining, there are only two dates left to get the Tailgate until its return next season.
As for drinks, we’ll have beers from Titletown Brewing Company in Green Bay available at Happy Hour prices all game long. On tap will be Green 19 IPA and Dark Helmet schwarzbier.
And don’t forget the complimentary green and gold touchdown jello shots every time the Packers cross the goal line and find the end zone.
What’s at stake
With a win in the divisional round of the playoffs over the Seattle Seahawks, the Packers qualified for the NFC Championship.
This time, however, the Packers won’t be playing on the Frozen Tundra. By virtue of holding the higher seed, the 49ers will be hosting the de-facto NFC semifinals.
It’s a rematch of a previous meeting earlier this season in which the 49ers dominated 37-8.
Although if quarterback Aaron Rodgers plays like he did last weekend when he threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns, the Packers will stand a much better chance.
The same goes for wide receiver Davante Adams, who had a Packers playoff record 160 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Add in a defensive performance that includes some turnovers, something the Packers didn’t do last weekend, and there will be a closer outcome. A shot at the Lombardi Trophy hangs in the balance.
