January Madison Northside Night at Bierock

Bierock’s Madison Northside Night for the month of January will take place on Thursday the 16th at the top Madison restaurant and craft beer bar.

A monthly occurrence, Northside Night happens the third Thursday of every month. Residents will receive 15% off their bill from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

January partner: Big Brothers big Sisters

This month Bierock partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County on the event.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is seeking persons interested in volunteering their mentorship and encourage them to attend Northside Night.

Representatives of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County will be on hand to answer questions, assist in signing up and socialize.

More on Big Brothers Big Sisters comes from their website:

When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on academics. Today’s youth face a variety of challenges, and being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their potential.

To throw in a charitable aspect this evening, Bierock is requesting customers donate to a children’s socks and underwear drive (or cash donation) that will benefit nearby Kennedy Heights Community Center.

Consider the donation an offset to the 15% discount customers will receive.

Since its inception, Bierock has collected children’s books, school supplies, non-perishable food, winter coats, domestic items and pet food for local organizations during its monthly Northside Night.

Northside Night is an opportunity to meet your neighbors as we encourage residents to get out of the virtual reality and into the real world.

Word will be put out on Nextdoor, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter and more online platforms.

Bierock hopes to see you Thursday Jan. 16 as we donate to a local charity, meet new acquaintances and renew old ones at a unique Madison restaurant experience.

Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter, across the street from Warner Park.
