Bierock is proud to host an exclusive tapping of Wisconsin Brewing Company’s Blister in the Sun on Saturday May 18.
The timing is no coincidence, the same day Wisconsin’s own Violent Femmes hold a concert at The Sylvee in Madison.
Taking place from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Bierock is holding a pre-party prior to the show complete with one-day-only special pricing on Blister in the Sun, the beer inspired by the folk punk band’s hit single.
Blister in the Sun is a unique brew, an India Wit Lager made with orange peel and coriander, a perfect complement to the start of summer.
Although this creation was made in previous years, to say this beer is a limited release would be a euphemism. An extremely limited release.
The beverage is being created on the brewery’s one barrel pilot system specifically for the occasion, and Bierock will be the sole outlet to taste it outside of the WBC tap room.
Only one keg will be available, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
A precursor to the event is being held on Thursday Apr. 25 when Bierock is holding a ticket giveaway to the Violent Femmes concert.
Every pint of WBC’s S’Wheat Caroline sold on that date will get an entry to win a pair of tickets. Drawing will be held at 10:00 p.m.
The concert ticket giveaway on Thursday Apr. 25 is Bierock’s pre-party to Madison Craft Beer Week, 10 straight days of events celebrating the industry. Please join us.
