On Wednesday Apr. 3, Bierock is tapping Ommegang’s latest offering in its multi-beer series inspired by the hit television series, Game of Thrones.

Bierock was able to secure a sixth barrel of the limited release For the Throne, which will go on tap at 3:00 p.m. with Happy Hour pricing available until 6:00 p.m. And when it’s gone, it’s gone.

At 7:30 p.m. Bierock will host Game of Thrones Trivia, an extension of its weekly Wednesday league trivia except exclusively dedicated to GoT with prizes going to the first, second and third place teams.

“Complex and compelling, yet delicate and refined, For the Throne is our tribute to the final occupant of the Iron Throne,” according to Ommegang. “This strong golden ale is co-fermented with Pinot Grigio and Viognier grape juices, then bottle conditioned with Champagne yeast.”

The timing was appropriate as interest hits a fever pitch in anticipation of the start of the final season on Apr. 14, airing on HBO.
