Bierock is excited to host Packer Fest the weekend before Labor Day on Saturday Aug. 25 to help kick off the football season.

With former Green Bay Packers tight end and Super Bowl champion Tom Crabtree taking part in the festivities, interest is mounting.

To help you plan, here’s the schedule of events:

• Doors open at 10:00 a.m., and customers will get a rare treat as we tap a selection of beers not normally distributed to the Madison market. Appropriately, those beers are from Green Bay via Badger State Brewing. The tap list will be released closer to the event.
• From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tom Crabtree will sign autographs. Details on how to secure your autograph are below.
• At 4:30 p.m., Tom Crabtree will take part in a live broadcast of “Railbird Central” airing live from Bierock.
• Then at 6:00 p.m., we’ll be showing a replay of Super Bowl XLV on our big screen.

To secure your Tom Crabtree autograph, we will be holding a cash-only pre-sale of vouchers on Thursday Aug. 16 in conjunction with the Packers-Steelers preseason game. Starting at 7:00 p.m., a total of 200 autograph vouchers will be sold at $20 each, a maximum of two per person. Tickets will continue to be sold at the bar until they’re gone, up to and including the day of the event. Once vouchers are sold out, walk up sales will not be honored.

One voucher entitles you to one autograph on an item of your choice. We encourage patrons to bring memorabilia, whether it’s a football, helmet, jersey, football card or whatever you want. A limited number of 8X10 photos will be sold the day of the event, but that is the only thing that will be sold.

At Packer Fest on Saturday Aug. 25, a line will form at 2:00 p.m. at the autograph table.
