On Wednesday August 12, Bierock is hosting Beer Bingo featuring Wisconsin’s own Hillsboro Brewing Company.
Bingo begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts roughly two hours.
It’s free to play. Customers will receive a bingo card, good for several rounds. Prizes include various beer-related giveaways, brewery SWAG, free pours and other esoteric awards like B-movie DVDs and erotic novels.
A representative from Hillsboro will be on hand to hand out samples, answer questions and socialize during the event.
Featured on Aug. 12 will be at least six beers on tap, including a seasonal offering. But we’ll make sure to have something hoppy, something light, something fruity and something malty. And we’re highlighting their newly released Central Time IPA, a recent offering for 2026.
Here’s the lineup and brewery descriptions for what we know what will be on tap…
Cowboys VS Aliens, Double Hazy IPA—A collaboration brew with 608 Brewing Co., this hazy DDH IPA is loaded with a ridiculous amount of INCOGNITO Hop Oil, Citra, and Galaxy hops. The aroma bursts with notes of Juicy Fruit bubble gum and fresh pineapple, while flavors of intense lime citrus, ripe mango, and passion fruit dominate the palate. Bold, juicy, and packed with hop character, this beer does not disappoint.
Sun Tapped, Amber Lager–Kernza Malt was used to make this brew, which aids in creating subtle notes of cinnamon, caramel, and cracked biscuit. German noble hops balance this brew with a floral aroma and soft bitterness.
Leaping Lemur, Cream Ale—Hops take a back seat in this smooth, luscious, and quaffable Ale. Brewed with Madagascar vanilla, this Cream Ale will have you leaping for more!
Bohemian Club, Czech-Style Pilsner—Light in color and deep in flavor, this lager is crisp and smooth. This Czech Pilsner honors our Hillsboro heritage.
Badger Sweat, Vanilla Milk Stout—Lactose gives a subtle sweetness that balances with the 5 roasted malts we use. We then age with vanilla to provide a balance of creaminess and roastiness.
Hillsboro Pale, Pale Lager—Luscious golden color, easy drinking; a true “session” Lager. Hillsboro Pale is our version of “The Beer That Made Hillsboro Famous.”
Beer Bingo takes place the second Wednesday of every month at Bierock as part of our Hump Day at Bierock series of events. Here’s the schedule…
