The first Tuesday of every month is Public Domain Movie Night at Bierock.

On Tuesday January 6, Bierock hosts a screening of The Big Combo.

This film noir from 1955 features a moody black-and-white police detective story with a classic jazz score.

A police lieutenant is ordered to stop investigating deadly crime boss Mr. Brown because he hasn’t been able to get any hard evidence against him. He goes after Brown’s girlfriend, who despises him, for information instead.

Admission is free and open to the public.
