In honor of Record Store Day 2026, Bierock is hosting Jazz Night on Saturday April 18.
Record Store Day supports independently-owned brick-and-mortar record stores, and we’ll be spinning vinyl sourced from such stores.
From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., we’ll be playing from the discography by jazz legends Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass and other Herb Alpert produced albums.
Then starting at 8:00 p.m. we’ll have live music by local band Chaos in the Kitchen playing their own Herb Alpert-inspired jazz and other numbers.
To make the day complete, we’ll be putting some Dogfish Head on tap, the Official Beer of Record Store Day.
Every pour of Dogfish Head from 5 to 8 p.m. gets you entered into a drawing to win a brewery-branded record player, tapestry or t-shirt and hat combo!
The winners will be drawn just before live music starts.
So go visit your favorite record store earlier in the day.
Then join us as we pay homage to jazz music, first by dropping the needle on some vinyl and then listening to live music.
