Beer drinkers will descend upon Madison on Saturday Aug. 11 for the 32nd annual Great Taste of the Midwest, featuring more than 190 different breweries at Olin Park.
Great Taste eve, however, the place to be is at Bierock, where we’ll be hosting a pre-party spotlighting Melms Brewing Company of Hartland, Wis.
Customers at Bierock will get a rare treat to taste beers not normally distributed to the Madison market with a staggered tapping and a brewery representative on-hand to answer questions.
The schedule:
- 3:00 p.m.—Heifer Vice, Hefeweizen
- 5:00 p.m.—Imperial Aamber, Amber Ale
- 7:00 p.m.—Disco Lemon-Aide, New England IPA
